This conference is an actualization of UNISA’s contribution to global health. This conference presents different emerging phenomena of health problems and solution from different perspectives and field of studies in the era of disruption. This conference consists of conference and workshop of writing publication.

I. Background

Lifestyle is a person’s behavior that is shown through his activities, interests and opinions especially with regard to self-image to reflect his social status. Lifestyle is an individual way of life which is identified by how people spend their time (activities), what they consider important in their lives (interest) and what they think about the world around them.
The rapid development of science and technology in the 21st Century offers more benefits and opportunities. At the same time, it adds more challenges and threats to society. The development of technology has enabled people to live longer and more comfortably, yet at the same time have created a destructive lifestyle for both natural resources and social ties. Lifestyle in the Digital Age demands all things fast paced, instant and sophisticated, and easy, without the need for physical activity and tends to be static.

II. AIM

The conference and workshop aim to provide a tremendous opportunity for academicians, researcher, professional in healthcare, social science, humanities, science and technologies, students, policy makers and public to improve understanding of current issues around above multidisciplinary topics, improve research skill and publication for addressing on related issues.

III. OBJECTIVE

  1. Conducting one day conference, presented by topic experts to gain more understanding on issues in health science, social science, humanities, science and technology
  2. Conducting workshop to improve research quality and impacts in related issues

SUB THEME

To address such complex situations, stakeholder collaboration is needed between the Government, the private sector, civil society and scholars. The conference is designed to provide a forum for experts from various disciplines to contribute their expertise and share their experiences on health and lifestyle in the digital era. Six sub forums which will be held are:

Universitas Aisyiyah Yogyakarta (UNISA) is a rising university in Yogyakarta Indonesia with vision to be “Health Oriented University based on Progressive Islamic Values”. Run under the umbrella of ‘Aisyiyah, women organization of Muhammadiyah modernist Islamic Organisation, UNISA has been implanting effort to advancing sustainable development and public welfare by providing high quality educational system,interdisciplinary researches and proactive social engagements. One of the efforts is building positive/simulative academic atmosphere by organising conferences, workshops and collaborative projects.
