  • Workshop for Research and Publication
    1. Preparing for publication
    2. Aim: This session will discuss how you can prepare for publication so whether you have published before are thinking about preparing a paper this session is for you. Advice will be given on how to start writing, how to target the right journal for your research, how to develop a publication plan and how to prepare a manuscript for submission to give it the best chance of being peer reviewed and accepted for publication.

    3. Preparing to be a reviewer of publications
    4. Aim: What happens when you submit your paper? Most journals have an independent peer review process to ensure that papers that are accepted for publication are of high quality. This session will provide an overview of the publication process and give you advice on how you can prepare to become an independent reviewer yourself.
